Frequently asked

Common questions

It depends on your nationality and length of stay. Non-EU citizens — including British citizens after Brexit — can stay 90 days in any 180 without a visa; longer stays need a permit. We clarify your case on the first call.

The NIE is just an identification number: you need it to buy or pay taxes, but it does not entitle you to reside. Residency is the permit to live in Spain. Many owners hold an NIE without being residents — which is fine as long as you stay within the permitted periods.

The most common routes are non-lucrative residency (if you have sufficient income or savings without working in Spain) and work or investment permits. We assess your situation and recommend the route best suited to your circumstances.

An NIE can be issued within a few days or a few weeks, while a residence permit can take one to three months, depending on the application route and the office. We prepare a complete application from the outset to avoid requests for further documents that could cause delays.

Of course. We look after you in your language, prepare all the documentation in Spanish and accompany you to immigration appointments when attendance in person is required.
